Body art and jewelry across cultures commemorate pleasurable moments and significant events in an individual's life. She steers clear from obvious ethnic or historical symbolism so her design can claim to be classic and timeless. Although contemporary in its simplicity of line, she creates a synthesis of cultural references in her work with architectural and organic elements remaining open-ended to help uncover the hidden aspects of emotion in nature and art.

To celebrate the individual, not afraid to make a statement, she encourages clients to be bold and match their active lifestyles by creating a personal expression of their style through modular components. Pieces can be assembled to be worn day to night. Bracelets become necklaces, earrings become pins and diamond enhancements are removable.

Sibylle Schempf´s design sensibility is fed by her childhood memories of accompanying her mother on her collector buying trips through exotic bazaars. The lavish indo-asian traditions were a constant reminder of what is artistically possible when the sculptural qualities of the female body are celebrated through ornament.

Her sculptural sensibilities draw inspiration from memories of exotic landscapes and architectural marvels visited all over the world, forms pure and monolithic as the solitary egg or solid and rhythmic as the columns lining a Hindu temple. The goal is to grant permanence in today's world of accelerating trends and built-in obsolescence. The focus is on precious materials and classic design forms of intrinsic and aesthetic value.
